It is the responsibility of AJC members to:
- Ensure the information they submit to the Alternation List is accurate.
- Only use the information provided for its intended purpose (i.e., to help AJC members connect about alternation).
- Contact potential alternate matches themselves using the contact information provided by AJC Alternation List participants.
- Engage with each other respectfully and courteously.
- Follow the National Joint Council Work Force Adjustment Directive to properly pursue alternation.
- Update the AJC when their status changes and/or when they wish to be removed from the list by emailing wfa-re@ajc-ajj.ca.
Final decisions on alternation rest with the employer/management.
