AJC members who are in one of the following categories should add their name to the AJC's Alternation List: 

  • Opting members who have not received a guarantee of a reasonable job offer (GRJO) and who are either within their 120-day option period or have selected Option A (a 12-month surplus period to find employment within the core public administration)
  • AJC members who are non-affected, occupy an indeterminate position, and who wish to leave the federal public service by exchanging positions with an opting person 

Members who are in one of these categories should also register on all employer platforms, including the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat’s Interdepartmental Alternation Community.
